Heather's Hacks :: Quick Chicken

I don't know about you, but sometimes I am running behind or get a request for something I have to scramble! Enter my trusty Instapot and KitchenAid Mixer!


They have been life savers. Do you know that you can can perfectly cook frozen chicken breasts in under 20 minutes and then shred them perfectly? Literally, no fuss and they are perfect every time!


You can use the chicken for nachos, BBQ sliders, salads and more!


SIMPLE STEPS

-Just toss frozen chicken + 1 cup of water or chicken broth into the bottom of the IP

-Secure the lid

-Adjust the seal mechanism to sealing position

-1-2 chicken breasts 10 minutes on high pressure + quick release

-3-4 chicken breasts 15 minutes on high pressure + quick release

-Remove the cooked breasts from the IP, toss them in your mixer bowl with the standard paddle

-Turn to medium and watch how easy it is to perfectly shred in seconds


That's it! Done and Done!
